So today a customer came in looking for a rack solution to carry his ski’s up to Whistler. His Audi has a great glass moon roof that he didn’t think he would be able to put a rack on but Thule have designed a vehicle specific fit that can be removed when not in use. The rack is the 400xt system and we decided to go with the Atlantis 1600 in black that matched the A3 paint perfectly. The box holds skis upto 180cm and opens both sides.

Once we had the car decked out for carrying the ski’s a luggage we moved onto finding the perfect tire chain for navigating up highway 99 to Whistler. Thule recently launched their chain brand made in Italy, the premium product in the line is the K-Summit. The advantage of the K-Summit is that it doesn’t wrap around the inside of the tire so it’s ideal for low profile tires and close clearances. It attaches onto the wheel lug nut in seconds and then you drive away it it wraps around the tire. take a look at the movie below:
